Ingest and transform Stellar DeFi data into per-position answers
Problem
Stellar DeFi activity arrives as ledger events, not as positions. Turning that stream into an answer an API can serve means ingesting without gaps, checkpointing progress and applying protocol rules in a defined order. We built that pipeline; we did not build the Orion front end.
What we built
- Ingest of Stellar and Soroban ledger data
- Immutable raw tables in PostgreSQL with checkpoints on ingest progress
- Publication to NATS JetStream for downstream consumers
- Protocol adapters, starting with Blend, writing transformed state into the Orion tables
- Supervised runtime with captive Stellar Core, migration ordering, health checks and backfill supervision
Outcome
The pipeline turns raw ledger noise into per-position answers an API can serve, with backfills and restarts handled by the runtime rather than by hand. We did not build the Orion front end.
